Macropointillism From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. Macropointillism is an off-shoot of Micropointillism, invented by artist Stephen Goodfellow. Macropointillism consists of large translucent dabs of primary color (yellow, red, and blue) and the derived interacting secondary colors. The work was first exhibited in Pontiac, Michigan at the Gallery Bleu in 1998.
